Reading through personal stories can help anyone discover more about themselves. Perhaps it can also help someone in need or someone going through a difficult time, like 'coming out'. It may aid someone who has a friend or sibling suffering because of their sexual orientation or gender identity; or someone trying to reach out to a child going through transitioning. And so much more.
Whether you are gay or a straight ally, you can help!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Please get in touch using the form below. I will review submission throughout the year bearing in mind I am doing this in my free time so it might not be immediate. Once your submission has been reviewed against the guidelines, it is published on this website and on social media.

WHAT STORIES WILL BE CONSIDERED?
A 1,000 Voices is for anyone who wants to share their personal story with the wider community. You can be Trans, Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Black, Asian, White, Christian, Muslim, etc. All stories are welcome.

WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES?
There are a few simple rules to respect.
​
1) Provide as much detail as you're comfortable with. Always bear in mind that a small detail can make a huge difference to someone else who is going through a similar journey.
2) Be respectful! Interviews containing swear words, pornographic or overly graphic and phobic responses will not be published.

3) You can remain anonymous. In that case, ensure your answers cannot identify you. You will still be required to provide an email address though to ensure I can let you know when your interview is being posted or to contact you in case of questions on your submission.
